⭐ How Does It Work?

How Does This Work?

⭐ 1. Riders Post What They Need

Riders describe:

where they want to go, for passengers
or what they need moved, such as furniture
when they need it, time

⭐ 2. Drivers See Posts on website or receive text message of new post

Drivers browse posts.

They can:

view ride details, such as pickup/drop off points and time, number of people
decide if the job fits their schedule

⭐ 3. Drivers Respond

A driver can respond with:

In large metro areas:

Drivers will respond with a price.
That's it.

In small communities, Drivers can respond with a text:

“I can do it but I'm available at a different time and here's my price”

⭐ 4. Riders and Drivers Negotiate Directly

RideFinder does not interfere.

Both driver and rider negotiate:

price
time
pickup location
details
special instructions
Once both sides agree, the job is set.

⭐ 5. SMS Alerts (Optional for Drivers)

Drivers can enable SMS alerts to receive:

new posts that fits their criteria
Once the text message is received they can look on the website for further details and also see other ride posts
Drivers can also negotiate with riders

⭐ 6. Instant Mode

Some posts allow drivers to accept instantly without negotiation.

Instant mode is used for:

Large Metro areas

⭐ 7. Territory Boundaries

RideFinder uses strict territory boundaries.

Drivers only see posts inside:

their chosen territory
their active region
their supported area
This keeps things organized and prevents cross‑territory clutter.

⭐ 8. No Commissions, No Middleman

RideFinder does not:

pay drivers
receive money from riders
charge per ride
interfere with drivers pricing
control drivers
control riders
tell driver where to go
Which rides to take
It is a bulletin board, not a gig platform.

⭐ 9 Simple, Direct, Transparent

RideFinder is built on:

clarity
simplicity
direct communication
driver freedom
rider flexibility
No tricks. No hidden fees.
